We are so thankful that God has provided for His church, through the generosity of His people. While pondering over some immediate needs of the church, an attitude of gratefulness flooded my heart. I thought about how most of God’s people had always given over and beyond their normal giving of tithes and offerings. And how, whenever we needed some extras, God would touch the hearts of his people to give.
Throughout the years the members of Frontline have given their time, funds and talents. Families have donated computers, media and musical equipment, color copiers, a new furnace, Bibles and books, cleaning supplies and so much more. Just recently one family decided to donate fresh flowers each week, for our enjoyment. Another family snacks and baked goods.
This came about from families, who thought about the church first. The scriptures teach us that we should always think about the maintenance of the House of the Lord. God uses people. Then God returns a blessing to them, in many different ways.
Never underestimate the value of your church. Every person should “THINK CHURCH FIRST’. What does the church need? Your time, your energy, your positive ideas, and your passionate support. If each member of our church family strives to have this attitude, the church would never fall short… so we encourage you, whether your gift is big or small, to “THINK CHURCH FIRST”.
“From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. “
